Learning and teaching for adults

This module is offered by the Institute of Education, carries 30 Masters level credits and is predicated on the principle that understanding how adults learn underpins effective teaching. A range of theoretical perspectives are used to analyse the roles of teacher, the activity of teaching, the roles of learners and the knowledge teachers are seen as imparting.
