Course Identifying and Managing the Trainee in Difficulty: A Process Guide for Clinical Staff
Date and Time Trust-based workshops
Description London Deanery offers free workshops in Identifying and Managing the Trainee in Difficulty (IMTiD) in Trust locations. Trust-based workshops can be arranged for one particular team or speciality within a trust, or for up to 20 consultants, senior STs, SpRs, Associate Specialists or Trust Doctors from across a Trust. Trust-based workshops can be organised via Postgraduate Medical Education Managers or Director of Medical Education, or by contacting the London Deanery directly via the Faculty Development team (contact details below). The workshop, which is approximately 2 - 2.5 hours, offers a ‘how to’ guide for clinical staff managing the Doctor or Dentist presenting with performance problems. Methods used during the workshop include: Powerpoint presentation, Q&A, video and case examples, group work, discussion, self/Peer review.
