How to make your lecture a success

The next few pages consider how you can make your lecture a success: how to plan, set aims and objectives, and things to consider doing – and not doing – as you deliver your presentation. Though there are a number of typical lecture formats, structure and content will (and should) be unique to each lecture delivered. For lectures that you give often, it is very tempting just to rerun the same lecture, but a refresh will not only make it more contemporary for the learners but will also engage you with it more deeply.
