Identifying and Managing Clinicians and Learners in Difficulty: An Exciting New Free Multiprofessional Course

This innovative, multi-professional workshop is designed to support supervisors in some of the challenges they face in working with learners and clinicians in difficulty. The workshop will be interactive and will include a mixture of theory and practical exercises and case discussion to enhance mutual learning.

Who the course is for: Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Managers, Doctors who are Educational or Clinical Supervisors, Educational Leads, Allied Health Professionals, Charge Nurses, Sisters, and Medical Scientists who have an educational role.

Course outline

  • Recognising the signs of a clinician in difficulty
  • Personality and behaviour
  • Holding conversations and giving effective feedback about performance
  • Fairness, confidentiality and managing allegations
