Who can use the library and information service?
Membership
The library and information service at the London Deanery has been purchased for the following groups of people only:
- London Deanery internal staff including administration staff, Deans, Directors, Associate Deans and Directors - from all depts (ie GP, Secondary Care, Medical Workforce, Dental), Specialty School Heads, GP Tutors, Programme Directors, Dental Tutors
- Clinical Tutors
- Direct students of London Deanery educators' courses
- Teaching the Teacher students
- Students of MA in Clinical Education
- Foundation School Heads
(Please note it does NOT include GP Trainers or Trainees)
Deanery Athens Username and Password
All members are entitled to a London Deanery Athens username and password which will enable them to access all of our online resources.

Please note if you already hold a NHS Athens username and password with your local NHS Trust, you may apply for a London Deanery Athens username to access the resources if you feel you meet the above criteria.
After applying for a London Deanery username and password, please be aware that you may be contacted for clarification regarding your eligibility as unfortunately the information contained on the application form does not indicate your status, and the publishers' licensing arrangments require that you meet the criteria.
