This free, half-day workshop is aimed at GP supervisors across London and South East, who are acting as clinical supervisors for clinical pharmacists, working in general practice as part of the NHS England programme. Following the Phase 1 Pilot Programme, NHS England have now committed additional funding (Phase 2) to support an extra 1,500 clinical pharmacists to work in general practice by 2020/21. HEE and CPPE are providing sessions for GP clinical supervisors, who are supervising a clinical pharmacist as part of their role.

Course Description

The workshop will include:

Information about the CPPE clinical pharmacist in general practice education programme and how this supports role progression,

  • Getting the most out of your clinical pharmacist,
  • Case studies,
  • Clinical pharmacist assessments methods and the role of the GP clinical supervisor.

This is an interactive workshop and participants will have the opportunity to talk about their experiences to date and share good practice.
